Joshua Weintraub
Law Clerk
Joshua Weintraub is a Law Clerk with Kohl & Cook Law Firm, LLC. Joshua received his J.D. in 2024 from The Moritz College of Law at The Ohio State University. Prior to his time at Moritz, Joshua graduated cum laude from the University of Cincinnati with his bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and a minor Criminal Justice.
Joshua has always sought to advocate for underrepresented individuals and the “little guy.” Joshua believes in utilizing his skills and experience to aggressively fight for these individuals and to level the playing field against oppressive entities and predatory practices. Prior to joining Kohl and Cook, Joshua clerked for the General Counsels of the Department of Homeland Security in Washington D.C. and University Hospitals in Cleveland. Following these experiences, Joshua worked part-time at an employment discrimination firm that represented plaintiffs.
As a law student, Joshua was a member of the Business Law Journal where he served as an Articles Editor and Note Coach. In addition, Joshua participated in the Washington D.C. Summer Program, the Criminal Defense Clinic, and the National Security Simulation.
