Matthew Lawson
Matthew Lawson is an Associate Attorney with Kohl and Cook Law Firm, LLC. He comes from a diverse background, with a combined total of over 25 years of experience in the social services and education fields. Throughout these roles, Matthew honed his skills in helping clients through difficult situations in order to find solutions. As many of those situations involved the legal system, he also gained valuable courtroom experience over the years.
At the midpoint of his career, Matthew decided to take his advocacy to a new level, one in which he could be the voice in court for those who needed justice. After graduating magna cum laude from Capital University Law School, he began his legal career advocating for justice for the citizens of Delaware County as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney. At the Prosecutor’s Office, Matthew gained invaluable experience in handling a variety of cases and standing up for victims.
Now at Kohl and Cook, Matthew is excited to leverage his broad experience and passion for justice on behalf of his clients. His background enables him to connect with clients whatever their circumstances or challenges. He will be your voice in the legal process, equally at home at the negotiating table and in the courtroom.
