Brittany Munn

Brittany MunnBrittany Munn is a Law Clerk with Kohl and Cook Law Firm, LLC.  She received her J.D. in 2023 from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, graduating as Public Service Fellow with Dean’s Highest Honors for completing over 1,300 hours of volunteer legal service.  A double Buckeye, Brittany graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from The Ohio State University and was a member of the Varsity Women’s Gymnastics Team. 

Brittany has been working in the Columbus legal community since 2018, developing a passion for fighting for people’s rights and ensuring access to exceptional legal representation.  She gained invaluable experience interning with Judge Edmund A. Sargus in the District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and Judge Sheryl K. Munson in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas.  Brittany also was in the Summer Law Intern Program at the Department of Justice in the Tax Division, externed with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Ohio, and was an intern at a non-profit representing criminal defendants.  Prior to law school, she worked at the Legal Aid Society of Columbus and the Office of the Ohio Public Defender. 

During law school, Brittany won Best Brief and Best Oral Argument at Regionals in the 2022 New York City Bar National Moot Court Competition and published 10 articles on Arbitrate.com.  In addition, she is a member of the Ohio Association for Justice, the Ohio State Bar Association, the Columbus Bar Association, and Columbus Young Professionals.
