Christal Khy
Associate Attorney
Christal Khy is an Associate Attorney with Kohl and Cook Law Firm, LLC. She earned her Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from The Ohio State University.
Born and raised in Columbus, Christal is proud to serve the community she has always called home. She is committed to helping clients navigate difficult legal matters with clear guidance and strong advocacy. She takes the time to understand each client’s situation and works to provide practical advice that reflects their individual needs. During law school, she served as a class representative for the Women’s Law Association and gained experience representing clients in a variety of legal matters. She also worked in The Ohio State University’s Office of Legal Affairs, where she assisted with university legal matters and compliance initiatives. Additionally, Christal participated in Ohio State’s JusticeTech Program, where she worked at the intersection of law and technology and partnered with the Franklin County Municipal Court to develop innovative solutions aimed at improving access to justice. Working with clients and community partners gave her a broader understanding of the challenges people face in the legal system and reinforced the value of effective, practical legal representation.
Christal is admitted to practice in Ohio and is a member of the Ohio Bar Association. She is dedicated to providing attentive representation and advocating for her clients throughout every stage of the legal process.
